Web Design
Building websites that empower businesses to succeed.
How does this all work?
A new website is an exciting project and offers a lot of possibilities.
Our guiding principle when building websites for our clients is to give them a platform to take their business to new heights. Be that establishing a strong online presence, generating highly valuable leads or creating a profitable e-commerce store. Below you can find all the information you need to understand how we go about building a website, if you have further questions, however, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
What pages will be included in my website?
What pages, sections and features a website should have can be a question that has many answers. At BespokeWP.pro we are happy to advise you on what we think would help make your website a success and where you can save time, effort and money by keeping things simple where possible. Just let us know if you want to talk about your project.
If you would like a quick answer to what should go into your website, we offer a free Website Survey, which will generate a Website Plan for you.
What kind of website do I need?
What features will our website have?
Every website we build is unique, they are designed with our client's exact needs in mind. Every page, every element and the way the content is laid out is designed to achieve a purpose. That might be to encourage readers to send you their details so you can sell them a service, it could be to have them buy a product directly from the website or to come to your place of business and engage with you in person. Every client's business and their needs are different and so will their website be.
That being said, each page we build relies on certain technologies and will follow best practices to ensure your site is up to date with current standards, is accessible to Google search and offers advanced features that make your website easy for both you, the owner and your customers.
Below are the building blocks we use on all our websites to give you the best results and experience.
Wordpress
Wordpress is the worlds most used content management system, (CMS) and powers almost a third of all the websites online today! It is the fastest growing CMS and is constantly being developed and new features are being added. This makes it very secure and robust.
Wordpress can be used to power a simple one-page website, a blog, an online store or a multi-million dollar company website.
One of the great things about Wordpress is that its features can be expanded very easily using different themes and plugins, which instantly give your website a different look and style as well as adding new functionality.
The true beauty of this platform, however, is that Wordpress makes it very easy for our clients to update and add new content to their own websites once they have been handed over.Â
All our websites are built using Wordpress for these reasons.
Responsive Design
Gone are the days when building a website was a simple case of putting text and a few photos into a webpage and letting people load it up on their chunky desktop computer.
Today people use the internet from devices of wildly different sizes, from computers with huge monitors to small phone screens and everything in between.
The World Advertising Research Center estimates that currently 51% only use their mobile phone to access the internet. this is estimated to increase to 72.6% by 2025!
This means it is vitally important to make sure a website works well and looks good on a range of screen sizes. Failing to do so not only impacts the user experience but also impacts the effectiveness of your website.
As if this wasn't enough reason to make sure your website is responsive to screen size, Google now ranks websites which aren't designed to work well on mobile phones lower on its search results pages.
We know that organic search traffic can be the lifeblood of a website and without it, a business can fail so we make sure that all our clients have a site which works well on all modern devices.

SEO
Even the best website will fail if no one visits it. Having your webpage show up at the top of search engine results pages (SERPs) is the ultimate aim of any site owner but achieving this is extremely challenging.
Looking online for how to get your website to the top of SERPs will take you to many articles and too be honest, many myths. There are lots of techniques people say work, but the truth is that Google uses constantly evolving, and generally secret, algorithms to determine if the content on your website is the content its users are searching for. If it is then that's what google will rank highly for that search term. The best way to rank highly on SERPs is to have a website with quality content.Â
That being said, there are important design elements that can let google understand your website better and allow it to show your content to more people.
We will identify powerful keywords that can be used in your content so when people search for those terms, they find your website.
As mentioned above, having a responsive website that works well on smaller screens is very important. So is having a secure website that uses an SSL certificate to keep user data safe. (All websites we build which use our own hosting come with a free SLL certificate as standard).
But just as important is making sure your content is laid out and identifiable to Google's algorithms.Â
We make sure that not only is the content we add formatted this way but also that when you add new content yourself, it is easy for you to add these elements Google looks for.
Reaching the top of any results page takes time. It isn't something that can be done overnight without paying Google for that privilege.
What we do is give you the tools to show search engines that you are putting out content that people want to see and will find useful. Over time your website will rank higher and higher
Cutting Edge Custom Theme
A great feature of Wordpress is the theme system. There are thousands and thousands of basic free themes available to download and install on to a Wordpress website. There are also premium paid themes which can add extra functionality and are updated with security patches and new features with much greater regularity than free themes.
Our websites are built using our own customised premium theme (which is based on the extremely popular Divi Theme) as standard. Our clients will get free access to this and updates will be included for the lifetime of the theme.
Not only that but our theme comes with useful help videos built right in so when you are adding new content, you can access tutorials and walkthroughs at the click of a button, right within the back end of your site.

Advanced Page Builder
One of the most impressive parts of our customised Wordpress theme is the advanced drag and drop page builder. This lets you add new pages or blog posts in a visual way by adding different modules and moving them to where you want them to be. You don't need to know any code or have any web design skills to create stunning content. Each module has in-depth settings and options to allow you to achieve the exact look you are looking for.Â
This makes a world of difference to our clients, empowering them to take true ownership of their sites.
